Save Alastair is steps 3, 4 and 5 out of 6 in The Gloom Lord quests assigned by the Duke.

Step 3

The The Dark One himself! This is too much for an old Duke. Break those totems to free poor Alastair - we need him now more than ever!

Alastair is one step closer to being free! Two more totems to go, I hope we can save him before it is too late!

This requires 3 things:

1. Crafting the Spear of Humility in the Workshop
2. Having 15 Royal Jewels
3. Breaking the Totem of Pride

The rewards are 3250 coins and 65xp.

Well done, my friend! Only 2 totems remain. For the Totem of Power, perhaps try a Dagger of Strength?

Step 4

I've always wondered what the Dark one looked like. Scary bloke! Poor alastair is looking weaker by the moment. We need to get him free!

Bravo! He is almost free. Alastair, if you can hear me, hang on!

This has 3 steps:

1. Crafting 1 Dagger of Strength
2. Have 10 Whetstones
3. Click the Totem of Power after the DoS is built

Rewards are 4250 coins and 85xp

Step 5

Oh! We are so close to freeing Alastair. Destroying that final totem is going to take an act of love!
